Learning guitar should be enjoyable, inspiring, and focused on you. I offer mobile one-to-one guitar lessons in and around the Horsforth area, teaching students aged 14 and above. Whether you’re picking up the instrument for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, lessons are built entirely around your goals and interests.

Specialising in blues and rock (although adept at other genres), I help players develop strong fundamentals while exploring tone, feel, phrasing, and improvisation — the elements that make your playing truly expressive. Lessons can also cover topics such as rhythm playing, soloing, music theory, and gear setup, depending on what you want to achieve.

Every session is tailored to your pace and learning style, ensuring steady progress and genuine enjoyment. With over 10 years’ experience teaching a wide range of students, I bring patience, encouragement, and a practical approach that keeps lessons relaxed yet productive.

Whether you want to jam with confidence, play in a band, or simply get more out of your guitar, I’ll help you build the skills and understanding to make it happen.

Lesson Prices

30 Minute

Cost: £18

Perfect for introducing a new concept or technique in a focused, efficient way. This shorter session is ideal as a regular top-up between longer lessons, or for maintaining momentum when time is limited.

60 Minute

Cost: £30

A full hour allows time to introduce and explain a concept in depth, demonstrate how to apply it in a practical musical context, and review your progress. We can also recap previous material and address any areas that need further clarification.

Bespoke Lessons

A flexible, pre-agreed lesson length designed entirely around your needs. This option allows for a deep dive into theory, technique, and real-world application, giving you full control over the direction and pace of the lesson.
